Pamela Slow Caplan
As both an Artist and Designer, I have studied and practiced in the field of both interior and exterior Art, Design, and Construction for almost 30 years. My passion has always been to create enchanting, extraordinary and unique spaces for my clients to relax and enjoy. While my goal remains the same, my main focus over the past 20 years has shifted towards exterior landscapes. Accommodating for the various elements both above and below the terrain is a complex challenge. There are always unforeseen problems that arise and need to be solved when transforming a landscape site into a functional, usable, cohesive extension of living space. Providing my clients with a get-away in their own backyard and to realize the beauty of the outdoors is the ultimate goal of every project.
Since establishing PCDesign, I have mastered how to effectively visualize each properties uniqueness. I work extremely close with the numerous subcontractors to ensure my vision becomes a reality. The most important aspect of creating a beautiful & functional outdoor space begins with a comprehensive exterior design plan. I, along with the members of my team, will work closely with you to to achieve your specific goals. Together, we all collaborate and recommend the most effective way to produce a landscape that will become an extension of your outdoor living experience. You can be involved to any degree that suits your style and time.
We begin when I meet you on site to see your space. I can almost immediately envision a plan the minute I see a property. At that point we will discuss your needs and wants, share ideas to come up with a full scale plan that can be tackled all at once or phased to meet your budget and start the design phase. After the design phase is complete and agreed upon, I will bring in my team or meet any subcontractors that you already have a relationship with to provide estimates. Following approvals, the construction phase begins to transform your property into a beautiful, functional outdoor retreat .
